Building a network

Today i intended to spend all day studying how to generate traffic but sadly i got side tracked again and i ended up generating traffic for real.  When i first got into this IM industry i was told that there were "Get Rich Schemes" and millions of empty promises but the only real way to make any kind of respectable income was to build it like an off line business.

What they meant by that was....... this is not some magical system for making money, its not a case of tap a few keys in the right order and the money will start appearing out of the DVD draw like some sort of ATM.

Well i am starting to appreciate what they meant now, it's not that i am keen and eager to start making money, but i am stunned by the enormity of what you have to do.  I am the sort of person who gets completely absorbed in a project, an erthquake could happen right next to me and i would not notice.

I have alreadt racked up hundreds of hours building the foundations of this business and i feel as though i am just scratching the surface.  One simple task that i pick up from a mentor or a more experienced marketer seems to take hours to accomplish.  However, i will say that every time you do something to your business or network, you do see little results which are hugely satisfying.

It's early days yet with the page and, just like this Blogsite, i really don't know where this is going to take me.  Remember what i said in the first post about this being a brand new venture, and i have no knowledge or what to do next?

Well, believe me when i say that all this is being done right off the cuff, i am learning this as i go along.  I learn something new, i practice it, then i implement it........
