My Internet Business Is 5 Months Old: Progress Report

Hi Folks

Time for an update i think, i have been working at this Internet Marketing Business for 5 months and all is going well so far.  I have multiple sales pages up and running now and the popularity of the sites is growing.  I would love to report that all the hard work is done but unfortunately i cannot.  This whole project is one big learning curve and the more you do.... the more there seems to be done.

I was told when I first started this venture that it was not a Get Rich Scheme and now I completely believe them.  The amount of hours I have put into the learning, designing and building is phenomenal.  I have lost count of the sleepless nights...... and even worse, you wake up in the middle of the night with a fantastic idea and there is no point trying to get back to sleep so you just get up and get onto the computer.

I have also had to face the disappointment when I have spent hours on an idea only to find it was a complete failure.  The same can be said for some designs.......

I spent hours scouring the internet for ideas for an emblem or an avatar for my Snowbird brand and I thought I had come up with the ideal design of a cartoon snowbird with snow on his back.  I started to use this image and found that part of my business literally died over night, it just ground to a halt.  I replaced it with a "Cheesy" picture of a guy in a suit with dollar bills raining down on him.... and the business took off again.  The lesson I learned there was that it is not about what I like.... Its about what the public like.

Anyway folks I thought I would like to show you some of my designs for some of my websites..... Some of them you will be familiar with and some of them you will not have seen before.  The newer ones are still undergoing trials to see how they perform so there may be some changes later on.

One thing I have never spoken about is monitoring and analysing the traffic that goes through the sites, I think I will leave that for later on in the Blog.
