Over the last 6 weeks I have been testing a product called Tweet Adder.
This "Stand Alone" software allows you to automate Twitter. You set it up to send Tweets at certain times and also it will Follow, Un-follow and even Follow-back. It will even send "Thank You" messages to people who Follow you and you can send other automated messages too to either make announcements or to run an advertisement campaigns.
Initially when I went on the site I noticed that they had a payment structure so you could choose what level of service you required and there was even a FREE TRIAL.
The thing I liked about this product was that you bought the software once and that was it.... NO RE-BILLING. After taking my time to read through the website I decided to buy the software and give it a try.
I have to say that I was very impressed, I set it up and let it do it's stuff. I soon realized that it does need to be used with caution otherwise you will just annoy people and possibly even get your Twitter account closed down.
It took me about 2 weeks to get it exactly how I wanted it and now it tweets between every 5 to 7 minutes and all of the tweets are steering people towards this blog. I have sent out a couple of ad campaigns and had quite a good response.
The main area that it has helped me is with the Follows. I am stuck in the "2000 Follows" net at the moment and I cannot Follow any more people until I have 2000 Followers. I have noticed that my Follower numbers have slowly been increasing over the last few weeks.
