Sunday night I went outside just as it was dropping dark to check my truck and move it's position on the driveway. This was to start a chain of events which resulted in the photograph above.
First of all my truck would not start because the battery was flat.... I had not driven it for over 2 weeks.
Secondly it was dropping dark and I could not see the battery terminals properly.
Thirdly I am not very good with electricity.
Well, I clamped the booster cables onto the dead battery and proceeded to clamp the other end to a good battery. In doing so I managed to reverse the polarity on the booster and when I touched them to the wrong terminals they started melting them selves to my hand.
So now I have a blister the size of a "Toonie" on my hand. I am actually quite proud of it and thought I had better take a photo of it before tomorrow because I think it is either going to pop.... or I am going to pop it anyway.
