FOREX - The path to your fortune, maybe?

One of my long term interests has been the FOREX (or Foreign Exchange) market.  I have always been fascinated with the ways that different currencies gain and lose value against each other depending on the economic or financial situations that present them selves over time.

You must have heard stories on the news about house builds, employment rates and interest rates.  Well believe it or not they are all part of an intricate international web that lives, breathes and moves 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year.  The whole world shares responsibility as control passes from nation to nation to keep the whole thing stretching and contracting right round the clock.

The most important factor in this huge, all powerful monster is that each nation has a currency and there are entities out there that make each currency either stronger or weaker as the events unfold.

Here is where you and I may profit because we can speculate (another word for bet) that one currency will get stronger over another.  We then enter the market with a stake, and as the exchange rate alters into our favour we make money, that is the theory anyway.

Many people have made a lot of money this way and the nice thing about it is that you only need a small amount of "Stake" money to get started.  Most trading software products have got Safety Stops built in just in case you do make a wrong decision and it will limit the losses.

Like i say I have been doing this for a number of years and i find it absolutely fascinating, I remember starting with $200 and within a few hours i had closed out my first trade for $10.  Not exactly ground breaking but i had just made $10 out of thin air... that's what I found exciting.....

Wow, i have found a book that I read a while ago and i found it to be a huge benefit.  Any of you who have been trading a while will need no introductions for Bird Watching In Lion Country.  Probably one of the greatest FOREX books ever written.
