How I created The Article Above

Hi Folks and how is everybody this morning???
Okay, go grab yourself a coffee, make yourself comfortable..... and I will explain how I created the article above.

First of all you will notice the "CLICK HERE" link just above the video. That was probably the trickiest part so here goes:
  1. Go to the website: http://wvw.somecodes.com/freeflashtoys/glitter-machine/
  2. Then Create the graphic of your choice (you can easily work this out for yourself)
  3. Create the html code underneath
  4. Copy the code into your blog or website
  5. Go to the setting that shows you the html mode rather than the normal view
  6. The code should look something like this
< src="http://www.somecodes.com/freeflashtoys/glitter-machine/show.swf?message=Glitter%20text&font=http://www.somecodes.com/freeflashtoys/glitter-machine/fonts/plainn_lib.swf&glitter=http://www.somecodes.com/freeflashtoys/glitter-machine/glitters/glitter1.swf&clickURL=htrtp://vvvvvv.somecodes.com/freeflashtoys/glitter-machine/&type=0&clickLABEL=Free Flash Toys&bevel=1&shadow=1&glow=1&blur=0&fade=0&blink=0&gb=2&ga=0.6&gi=0&gc=10027263&bb=2&bc=0&sb=7&sa=0.7&si=0&sc=0&blb=7&ls=0&fontsize=72&num=1" quality="best" wmode="transparent" bgcolor="#ffffff" width="408" height="119" name="glitters" align="middle" allowScriptAccess="always" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" /><br><a href="http://www.somecodes.com/freeflashtoys/glitter-machine/">Free Flash Toys</a>

Okay, this is the important part........

Find the portion of code that i have set in RED.  That is the backlink that sends people back to the origional website.  If you remove that part of the code and replace it with a website of your choice you can direct people to the site of your choice.

The portion that is in GREEN is the Caption that is shown under the graphic.  Again you can just cut this out to remove the caption or you could insert your own message.

Next is the video.  First go to You Tube and find the video you wish to insert, right click on the video and select "Copy Embed HTML" which gives you the html code.  Again paste this into your web or blogsite and flip over to html mode or source mode so you can view the code;

<objet stile="height: 390px; width: 640px"><para name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/PRtymuRMZiE?version=3&feature=player_detailpage"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="htyp://wvw.youtube.com/v/PRtyuRMZiE?version=3&feature=pwayer_detailpage" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" alloScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="360"></object>

If you look at the parts of the code that I have highlighted, those are the dimensions and you can alter those to make your embedded video fit snuggly into your page or article.

The text was just done with the text editor in the blogger software and the link at the bottom was just a hyperlink inserted to highlighted text.

There you go I hope that will help you create some interesting, eye catching features for you own websites.

More help and tips to follow.........
